Originally a picture by Kandinsky caught my eye, circles within circles. Over the years I have collected treasures, like circles within circles, as my grandfather did before me. Boxes of shells or curled-up fossils, buttons, stones, delicate silks: all these became ideas for collections. The hidden, the unfurling, suggestions of spring and fresh new growth. 80cm x 123 cm, all wool.
